Who is Taxpayer Advocate?
Taxpayer Advocate (OTA) is an organization that is dedicated to ensuring that all taxpayers are treated fairly and equitably. They may be able to assist individuals who are having tax problems that are causing undue economic hardship or have been unsuccessful in resolving a tax matter using the OTR’s normal channels.
Why attend the seminar?
Earned income credit (EIC), or earned income tax credit (EITC), is a tax benefit for low-income families designed to help them save money each year by reducing the amount of tax they owe. If you qualify for the earned income tax credit you can reduce your taxes and increase your tax refund.
