 n honorably. Teaching and guiding children to\nbe cooperative and contribu
 ting members of a family requires parents to behave\ndignified.\n\nSession
  4: Empathy\n\nThe ability to be aware of\, understand and respond appropr
 iately to your children is\nthe key in being a nurturing parent.\n\nSessio
 n 5: Managing Feelings\n\nRecognizing and managing feelings is a basic qua
 lity of nurturing parenting.\n\nSession 6: Communication\n\nOften identifi
 ed as the major problem between parents and children\, we addresses\nposit
 ive communication skills.\n\nSession 7: Self-Worth and Empowerment\n\nA po
 sitive self-worth is the foundation for treating others with respect and\n
 value. Teaching children to use their personal power in positive ways cont
 ributes to\ntheir overall positive Self-Worth as well as a positive and he
 althy Sexual Self-Worth. \n\nSession 8: Making Good Choices and Keeping Ki
 ds Safe\n\nSmoking\, drugs and alcohol use\, sex\, peer pressure are all i
 ssues that confront\nfamilies daily.\n\nSession 9: Nurturing Routines\n\nC
